A side airbag cushion is provided to prevent a vent hole from being clogged upon a vehicle collision and prevent an occupant from being injured due to gas discharged through the vent hole. A side airbag cushion comprises a bottom chamber(140) and a top chamber(150). The bottom chamber forms a lower space(B) by gas introduced into at least one lower panel. The top chamber is coupled with the bottom chamber and forms an upper space(A) by gas introduced into a plurality of upper panels. A volume control panel(156) is coupled between the upper panels to adjust volume of the upper space. The top chamber includes a volume control tether(158) coupled to the upper panels, with the volume control panel interposed therebetween, to limit expansion of the volume control panel under predetermined pressure. The top chamber includes first and second side panels(152,154) for limiting the upper space from the side of the top chamber.
