PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the components in an apparatus not to be damaged easily by preventing the load side from being supplied by a too little or excessive external AC power supply even if an apparatus is connected accidentally with an external AC power supply unlike the rating. SOLUTION: A first switch section 1 turns power supply from an external AC power supply A to the load side off. A first detecting section 3 detects that the external AC power supply A is in a state above a first voltage. A second switch section 7 turns the first switch section 1 on based on detection at the first detecting section 3 and controls power supply from its external AC power supply A to the load side. A second detecting section 9 detects that the external AC power supply A is in a state above a second voltage higher than the first voltage.
