PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for manufacturing an ornamental article which can be used for a long time and can be decorated by using vegetables and fruits and processing them into various flower shapes by generating no putrefaction. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the ornamental article comprises the cutting process for cutting the vegetables and the fruits thin, the drying process for drying thin cut vegetables and fruits in this cutting process, the softening process for moistening and softening the dried cut vegetables and fruits after this drying process, and the processing process for processing the cut vegetables and fruits softened in this softening process into specified shapes such as flowers by using an adhesive.
