PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator operable without hindrance when manually operating a door, and preventing negligence in a door half opened state. SOLUTION: The refrigerator is provided with a refrigerator body forming a refrigeration compartment, a door driving device electrically driving opening and closing of the door, a first door state detecting means for detecting a closed state of the door, a second door state detecting means positioned within a range of closing operation of the door by the door driving device for detecting a half opened state of the door, and a control part controlling operation of the door driving device. In the control part, a half opened state of the door is determined on the basis of detected states of the door by the first door state detecting means and the second door state detecting means, and control is carried out to drive the door by the door driving device after passage of a predetermined time if it is determined that the door is in a half opened state.
