PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a snow guard capable of achieving a satisfactory role as the snow guard and provided with a plain roof tile having the optimum strength (a broadened to the end and thick-walled structure from a free end toward a hem part), shape (a broadened to the end and thick-walled structure from a free end toward a hem part and/or a water dividing part structure), and height or the like. SOLUTION: This snow guard is provided to protrude on a surface side of a tile body of the flat roof tile having an underlap and an overlap, and a water dividing part allowing rainwater and/or dust to flow and a body part having a substantially trapezoidal shape being thick-walled from the free end toward the hem part are provided at the center in the direction of width of the snow guard. Clay for protruding the snow guard is supplemented in a position facing the snow guard on a rear surface side of the tile body by providing a recessed part, and the snow guard is protected from the accumulated snow through the body part having the substantially trapezoidal shape of the snow guard to constitute the structure of the snow guard plain roof tile.
