PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sticking and burning of rice as far as possible while maintaining water impermeability of the inner pot. SOLUTION: In the inner pot for an electric rice cooker including inner pot bodies 1a-1d composed of a non-metallic material, a water impermeable glaze layer 4 applied to the inner peripheral surface and outer peripheral surface of the inner pot bodies 1a-1d, a non-adhesive coating layer 5 formed by applying a coating excellent in a non-adhesive property to the inner peripheral surface of the inner pot bodies 1a-1d and a heating member 2 for induction heating provided on the outer peripheral surface of the inner pot bodies 1a-1d, a surface treated layer 6 composed by executing surface treatment for improving the contact of the coating excellent in the non-adhesive property is formed on the surface of the glaze layer 4 applied to the inner peripheral surface of the inner pot bodies 1a-1d, and the coating (for instance, fluororesin) excellent in the non-adhesive property is applied to the surface of the glaze layer 4 applied to the inner peripheral surface of the inner pot bodies 1a-1d with the excellent contact.
