PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output an animation after appropriately correcting image blurring while taking into account an output form during animation playback. SOLUTION: A digital camera 11 plays back and outputs recorded moving image data and includes: a blur correction unit 29b which corrects image blurring contained in the moving image data during playback, and a correction control unit 29c which changes a correction level in the blur correction unit 29b in accordance with a form playing back and outputting the moving image data. Thus, when using a built-in monitor 27 or using an external monitor 13, moving image data can be output after appropriately correcting image blurring by setting the correction level suitable for the monitor to be used at the time.
