The servo unit (1) has a piezoelectric actuator (6) and a amplifier hub arrangement (10). A pressure chamber (22) has a piston element (18) combined with larger active surface (A1) and flexible and ductile wall arrangement. A transmission element is provided with comparatively smaller active surface (A2). A diaphragm (58) partially limits the pressure chamber, and is subjected to control pressure on the far rear side of the pressure chamber. An independent claim is also included for a hydraulic valve that has a servo unit.
