PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant light shielding film which is used as an optical equipment part such as a shutter blade or diaphragm blade of a lens shutter of a digital camera and a diaphragm blade of a light quantity adjusting device of a projector, and excels in light blocking effect, heat resistance, slidability, low glossiness and conductivity, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The heat-resistant light shielding film comprises a resin film substrate (A) having heat resistance at≥200°C and a multilayer film consisting of a metal film (B) formed on one side or both sides thereof by sputtering in a film thickness of≥50 nm and containing an element selected from Ta, W, V, Mo, Co, Nb, Fe, Cu, Zn, Al and Si and a low reflecting oxide film (C) containing an element selected from Ti, Ta, W, V, Mo, Co, Nb, Fe, Cu, Zn, Al, Si, Sn, In, K and Ce, wherein the multilayer film has a surface roughness of 0.1-0.7μm.
