For the purpose of preventing the adsorption of a protein or peptide onto a molded resin article, an aqueous solution of a nonionic surfactant is con tacted with the molded resin article, and subsequently the molded resin arti cle is irradiated with a radioactive ray. The concentration of the surfactan t in the aqueous solution is set to a value 0.05 to 500-fold greater than th e critical micelle concentration of the surfactant at 25~C.
