PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument mounting device capable of favorably maintaining the angle of a mounted instrument. SOLUTION: The instrument mounting device 10 has a holding part 3 which is slidably brought into contact with a spherical surface of a spherical part 2 having a shaft part 1 with a portable navigation device 20 fixed thereto, and holds the spherical part 2 in a rotatable manner. By rocking the shaft part 1 so that the spherical part 3 forms a supporting point, the angle and the direction of the portable navigation device 20 can be changed to desired values. Further, when the angle and the direction of the portable navigation device 20 reach the desired values, a locking projecting part 5b of a locking tool 5 is locked in a hole part 2a of the spherical part 2 and the spherical part 2 is locked to the holding part 3 to maintain the angle and the direction of the portable navigation device 20 are favorably maintained.
