<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem when correcting a lower limit frequency by conventional method wherein the required minimum capacity can not be secured when a load of a room is changed, or when a setting is changed by remote control device, and responsiveness to load change becomes poor since a frequency is lowered. <P>SOLUTION: In the air conditioner, if a room temperature reaches a temperature set by the remote control device, the lower limit frequency is corrected, and the load of the room is changed or the setting is changed by the remote control device, a correction value of the lower limit frequency is canceled.
