PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a smooth sine wave with little strain at low cost in an interference wave generating apparatus, suppress generation of heat at a current amplification transistor of an output stage in such an apparatus, and furthermore achieve various functions such as pad separation detection even in a small device. SOLUTION: The interference wave generating apparatus is provided, which utilizes the sine wave generating circuit generating a desired sine wave signal using a stepwise sine wave generated in advance by transmitting a digital output outputted from software to a D/A converter. A dedicated IC or a ladder-like resistor can be used as the D/A converter. A self-oscillation type drive circuit is provided for suppressing the generation of heat.
