PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery/disposal method capable of simultaneously processing confidential information medium other than paper without leaving a remained article while maintaining confidentiality. SOLUTION: A conveying storage unit 8 delivered while retaining confidentiality is thrown to a rotary kiln 310 in a cement factory. A waste throwing part 307 is provided on a front end part (raw material throwing side) of the rotary kiln 310. The waste throwing part 307 is provided with a feeder or the like, and the conveying storage unit 8 is placed on the feeder in the non-opened state and is led into the rotary kiln 310. Accordingly, the confidential documents and the recording medium are burned in the rotary kiln 310 with the conveying storage unit 8, and perform the role as a fuel.
