The present invention is to provide a motorcycle tire capable of remarkably improving a traction characteristic and an anti-sideslip characteristic for cornering without deteriorating the mud expulsion characteristic especially on a dirt road. <??>A motorcycle tire has a plurality of main blocks 2 scattered on a tread 1. Sub blocks 3 are provided between the main blocks 2. The sub block 3 is made of rubber and has block height H2 lower than that the height H1 of the main block 2.
