摘要 A method for reducing the delay of gate driving signals and an LCD device thereof are provided to compensate for the delay caused from a gate driver by driving gate lines dually using gate drivers positioned at both sides of the gate lines. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a timing controller(170), level shifters(150,160), gate drivers(130,140), and a clipping unit(190). The timing controller generates an output enable signal and a gate clock, and adjusts timing of a load signal that determines an output time of data. The level shifters generate a gate clock pulse in response to the output enable signal and the gate clock. The gate drivers generate gate driving signals in response to the gate clock pulse and sequentially drive plural gate lines. The clipping unit clips the gate driving signal and supplies the clipped gate driving signal to the timing controller. The timing controller compares the clipped gate driving signal with the output enable signal, calculates the delay time of the gate driving signal, and adjusts the timing of the load signal.
