HOLDER FOR SURFACE LIGHT SOURCE AND BACKLIGHT UNIT HAVING THE SAME

A holder for a surface light source apparatus and a back light unit including the same are provided to prevent a pin hole phenomenon from generating due to the local concentration of the heat generated from the surface light source apparatus. A holder includes the flat first surface and the second surface(220) opposite to the first surface, and plural contact members(220a) and recessed non-contact members(220b) are formed on the second surface repeatedly. In the holder, the width of the non-contact member is larger than that of the contact member. The thickness of the non-contact member is above 1/2 of that of the contact member. In the holder, plural non-contact members are formed with the same distance. The width of the outermost non-contact member among plural non-contact members is largest. The holder includes at least one penetration hole. A guide is formed at a side of the holder. A wire ejection hole is formed at the guide, and the holder has the elasticity and thermal conductivity.
