A brightness control method of an inverter is provided to respond to a brightness control voltage exactly with regardless of the brightness control voltage including noise. The number of entire steps of an ADC(Analog to Digital Converter) is calculated against the ratio of the previous input voltage of the ADC relating to the reference voltage so that the number of previously inputted steps of the ADC is detected(201). The number of entire steps of the ADC is calculated against the ratio of the present input voltage of the ADC relating to the reference voltage so that the number of present inputted steps of the ADC is detected(202). The absolute value relating to the difference value between the present step number and present step number is obtained(204). A process for comparing the absolute value of the difference value with the predetermined sensitivity is performed(205). When the absolute value of the difference value is bigger than the sensitivity, the duty corresponding to the present inputted ADC input voltage is controlled(206). |
