HANDOVER METHOD ON WIRELESS NETWORK FOR TRANSCEIVING DATA BY USE OF HIGH-FREQUENCY BANDWIDTH

A handover method and apparatus on a wireless network for transceiving data by a high-frequency band are provided to enable a handover controller to select a wireless device to be a backup coordinator by referring to a device priority list and request the selected wireless device to perform handover if specific conditions are satisfied, thereby performing the handover of the coordinator efficiently on the basis of the predetermined device priority. Priority for a coordinator is recorded in a device priority list(143). A handover controller(141) requests a device, selected by referring to the device priority list, to perform handover. A transceiving unit(160) transmits network information according to the handover. The priority is applied to devices on the basis of types of devices. The network is a network in a high-frequency band. The high-frequency band is dozens of Giga bit band. Data is non-compression AV(Audio/Video) data.
