<p>A flame resistant adhesive composition is provided to realize excellent flame resistance, adhesion, heat resistance and migration resistance in a dense multilayer structure, and to avoid the use of a halogen compound. A flame resistant adhesive composition comprises: (A) a halogen-free epoxy resin; (B) a carboxyl-containing acrylic resin and/or carboxyl-containing acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber; (C) a curing agent; (E) a phosphinate salt represented by the following formula 1 and/or a phosphinate salt represented by the following formula 2; and (F) an ion scavenger and/or heavy metal inactivator. In formula 1, R1 and R2 are the same or different, and each represents a monovalent linear or branched C1-C6 alkyl or aryl; M is selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Al, Sb, Sn, Ge, Ti, Zn, Fe, Zr, Ce, Bi, Sr, Mn, Li, Na, K and quaternized nitrogen base; m is an integer of 1-4. In formula 2, R1, R2, M and m are the same as defined above; R3 is a divalent linear or branched C1-C10 alkylene, C6-C10 arylene, C6-C10 alkylarylene or C6-C10 arylalkylene; n is an integer of 1-4; and x is an integer of 1-4, with the proviso that 2n=mx.</p> |
