An installation structure for mounting a cutting torch in a universal pipe cutter is provided to prevent damage of the cutting torch by installing the cutting torch movable by a supporting bar sliding on a slide rail. An installation structure for mounting a cutting torch(13) in a universal pipe cutter includes a supporting bar(23), a slide rail(25), a supporting rod(19), a supporting shaft(27), a bearing groove, a bearing, a carrier(33), and a height controlling screw bar(35). The cutting torch is fixed on the supporting bar. The supporting bar is connected to the supporting shaft through the slide rail. The slide rail is installed vertically and includes the bearing groove. The carrier having the bearing is movably coupled to the bearing groove. The supporting bar is coupled to the carrier. The height controlling screw bar is installed on the carrier and decides a lowest point of the supporting bar for keeping the cutting torch above a predetermined height.
