ELECTROCONDUCTIVE COATING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroconductive coating material which has a favorable coating film strength, is capable of exerting a high conductivity and can readily achieve a desired hue.

SOLUTION: The electroconductive coating material comprises an organic binder component and a carbon fiber structure of a three-dimensional network form which is composed of carbon fibers having outside diameters of 15-100 nm and has granular parts at which the carbon fibers are bundled in a manner such that a plurality of the carbon fibers extends out therefrom. The granular parts are formed during the growth of the carbon fibers. The carbon fiber structure is compounded in an amount corresponding to 0.1-50 mass% of the entire coating material.
