PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draining trap which can remove slime adhering to the interior thereof, and can peel off hairs etc. sticking to a draining basin or a hair catcher and collect the same at the center. SOLUTION: The draining trap 4 has an inflow port 4c of water drained from a bathtub formed in a side surface thereof, and a trapping cylinder 6 hung from a draining basin 2, is arranged in an upper portion of the draining trap. The draining basin 2 has the hair catcher 5 arranged therein, and the inflow port 4c is opened in a direction of an internal surface 4b of the draining trap. Thus the draining trap can generate a vortex caused therein by water drained from the bathtub and flowing form the inflow port 4c, so that the vortex reaches a location above the hair catcher 5 in the trapping cylinder 6.
