PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a call termination connection processing method in a private branch exchange, capable of executing a trunk line call to a public network or the like, by utilizing a caller number stored in a register information memory of an extension phone terminal, as it is, and to provide a caller number processing method. SOLUTION: The call termination connection processing method for an incoming call, subjected to the caller ID service arriving in the private branch exchange via a trunk line, includes the steps of detecting a caller number informed by the caller ID service; generating an edited caller number by attaching an external switch network, particularizing dial number to the detected caller number; and executing connection processing for the incoming call to a call termination request destination extension terminal and transmitting the edited caller number to the call termination request destination extension terminal.
