<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in utilization of a subcarrier while maintaining iterative waveform effective for synchronization processing in a radio communication apparatus using OFDM. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication apparatus for transmitting OFDM symbols including a symbol for synchronization includes an allocation section for allocating a first signal to be generated constantly to a first subcarrier of a ±N*k (N: integer of ≥2, k=1, 2, ...)-th symbol for synchronization, and allocating a second signal having total power less than that of the first signal to at least a part of another second subcarrier other than a subcarrier in the center of the symbol for synchronization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
