PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system with low electric consumption and little sound, having a short response time, a simple mechanical structure and a small outer diameter, being small in size and capable of focusing. SOLUTION: The optical system includes a rotation symmetrical lens G in which focusing is carried out or visibility adjustment is controlled by use of a deformable mirror DM.
