<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a liquid crystal display panel capable of making a white balance flat without changing the thickness of each filter layer in a color filter for a liquid crystal display panel of four colors; red R, green G, blue B, and cyan C. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter for the liquid crystal display panel is equipped with black matrices provided in prescribed patterns on a transparent substrate and the color filter layers of the four colors red R, green G, blue B, and cyan C provided respectively in the prescribed patterns between the black matrices. The color filter is so constituted that the bottom wavelength of the reflection spectra of the black matrices exists near the wavelength of the peak spectra of the white balance curve of the liquid crystal display panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
