FILLER WHEEL TAPPER FOR CUTTING TOP OF BEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor for load adjustment of a filler wheel tapper in contact with beet and to suppress beet deep cutting at the rear end side of the inclined cutting blade of the filler wheel tapper. SOLUTION: A base bracket is fixed to a base frame on which the drum-shaped filler wheel tapper is pivoted and the intermediate fulcrum shaft hole of a lever link equipped with a connection shaft hole at the rear part and with a latching recessed part and a connection rod at a tip side is pivoted on the base bracket. A pair of urging springs are to fitted to the upper and lower sides of the plate of a supporting rod vertically slidably passed through the plate of the shaking support frame of the filler wheel main body and the lower part of the supporting rod is pivoted on the rear end of the lever link. A lever member that is connected to the connection rod of the lever link and vertically shakes the lever link is installed at the outside of the base bracket. The base bracket is equipped with a pin latching hole for fixing the latching recessed part of the lever link on a fixed position. Further, the diameter of an outside filler wheel unit opposing to the blade tip of the inclined rear end side of an inclined cutter arranged at the under side of the uneven pawl of the drum-shaped filler wheel main body is made larger than the that of an inside filler wheel unit.
