PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asbestos removing method and an asbestos removing system, which increase scattering suppressing effect and peeling-off capability of asbestos, and suppress pollution of removing device itself. SOLUTION: This asbestos removing system is provided with: a negative pressure achieving device 2 for bringing the inside of an isolation room 1 into a negative pressure condition; a foam generator 3 for supplying foam generated by using water containing surface active agent; a foam injection nozzle 3a for injecting foam into asbestos; a blast machine 4 for supplying peeling-off agent; a blast nozzle 4a for injecting peeling-off agent into asbestos; a storage box 5 in which the foam injection nozzle 3a and the blast nozzle 4a are attached to its inside and peeled-off asbestos are stored, and which can move vertically and to the left and right sides; a cyclone 6 connected with the storage box 5 and recovering and separating the peeled-off asbestos; a sealed vessel 7 for storing the separated asbestos; a dust collection device 2 for sucking the air exhausted from the cyclone 6 and the unseparated asbestos; and a controller 8 for operating the foam generator 3, the blast machine 4, and the storage box 5 by remote operation.
