<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue generation of a steering assist force by securing a proper control power without being affected by variation of a battery voltage. <P>SOLUTION: This electric power steering controlling device comprises steering torque detection means 17 detecting a steering torque, an electric motor 5 generating a steering assist force to a steering system, and steering assist controlling means 3 controlling the electric motor based on the steering torque detected by the steering torque detection means 17.
