PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a liquid crystal display device that can shorten an inspection time without lowering inspection precision. SOLUTION: In the method for inspecting the liquid crystal display device comprising an array substrate having pluralities of signal lines and scan lines, and pixel electrodes provided near intersections of the respective signal lines and scan lines, a counter substrate having a common electrode opposite to the plurality of pixel electrodes and arranged opposite to the array substrate, a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the array substrate and counter substrate, and a plurality of driver ICs mounted on the array substrate, a driving voltage is applied to a driver IC, switched ON/OFF repeatedly a plurality of times in an aging period, and then held in an ON state to activate the liquid crystal display device for display, thereby inspecting its display state.
