The device has a sealing gasket (2) which is drilled with a circular orifice having shape and dimensions such that the gasket is deformed in a manner to ensure an annular contact around a power cable (1), when the cable is introduced in the orifice. The orifice has a section homothetic to a section of the cable, so that the gasket is deformed elastically during the introduction of the cable. An independent claim is also included for an electric equipment comprising a power cable sealing device.
