<p>A negative electrode current collector for lead storage battery, comprising lattice, upper frame and ear parts, characterized in that the upper frame and ear parts have surface layers each of which consists of a Pb-Sn alloy wherein the mass ratio of Sn based on the alloy total is = 10%, or a Pb-Sb alloy wherein the mass ratio of Sb based on the alloy total is = 10%, or a Pb-Sn-Sb alloy wherein the mass ratio of the sum of Sn and Sb based on the alloy total is = 10%, or Sn, or Sb. Further, there is provided a negative electrode current collector for lead storage battery, comprising lattice, upper frame and ear parts, characterized in that only the upper frame and ear parts have surface layers. Production of a lead storage battery using this negative electrode current collector would provide a lead storage battery exhibiting excellent cycle life performance.</p> |
