<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of suppressing the catalyst deterioration of the system and quickly starting. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell stack 100 is equipped with a first oxidant gas passage 115a and a second oxidant gas passage 115b separated from the first oxidant gas passage 115a. Fuel gas and oxidant gas are supplied by switching over with three-way valves 202, 302, 602 to the second oxidant gas passage 115b. In stopping of operation, fuel gas is supplied to the second oxidant gas passage 115b, and after dropping to the prescribed voltage, the supply of the fuel gas is stopped and the system is stopped. In starting of the operation, when the presence of oxygen in a fuel gas passage 116 is presumed, the fuel gas is simultaneously supplied to the second oxidant gas passage 115b and the fuel gas passage 116. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
