CARBON RESIDUE COMBUSTION SHUTDOWN METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon residue combustion shutdown method of a short operation period. SOLUTION: This method comprises a step of cooling a bed material by circulating the bed material between a pressurized-fluidized bed boiler and a bed material tank after the fuel supply from a fuel pump to the pressurized-fluidized bed boiler is stopped. Further it comprises steps of: stopping the fuel supply from the fuel pump to the pressurized-fluidized bed boiler; closing a gas turbine valve to supply the fuel gas to a gas turbine after stopping the fuel supply; and opening a bypass valve mounted in a pipe bypassing the gas turbine, after the gas turbine valve is closed.
