IMAGE FORMING DEVICE, AND ITS CONTROL METHOD AND CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that reduces a work burden to select a desired processing function and set an applying position, its control method and control program.

SOLUTION: This control method for controlling the image forming device comprises steps for displaying a paper correspondence diagram 41 on an operation screen; displaying a plurality of icons 42a to 42j respectively related to a processing function by a printer on the operation screen; receiving the designation of the icon 42b among the plurality of icons 41a to 42j and selecting a processing function corresponding to the designated icon 42b; and receiving the designation of a position on the paper correspondence diagram 41 and determining the position where the selected processing function is applied to the paper.
