PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintering joining method utilizing the shrinkage of an external member by sintering which can be easily applied to both of a form in which a joining face has a simple planar shape and a form in which a recessed groove(s) is present in the middle of a joining face, thus has excellent versatile applicability, and can improve the joining strength thereof. SOLUTION: Regarding the sintering joining method for the sintered composite where an internal member and an external member are engaged and sintered, so as to be joined, in the case the external member is the one obtained by sintering a green compact with an almost tubular shape subjected to compression molding, the length of the green compact 20A for the external member is set so as to be higher than that of the part to be joined in the internal member 10, the internal member 10 is engaged inside the tube of the green compact 20A in such a manner that the edge parts of the green compact 20A are swelled out from the part to be joined in the internal member 10 and are made non-contact with the internal member 10, and, by the dimensional shrinkage by sintering in the green compact 20A, deformation is caused in such a manner that the external member squeezes the internal member.
