PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner control system and an air conditioner control method capable of optimally controlling an air conditioner on the basis of temperatures measured by a plurality of temperature sensors. SOLUTION: This air conditioner control system comprises the temperature sensors 21a-21d for measuring temperatures, and target temperature setting means 22a-22d for setting target temperatures of spots where the temperature sensors 21a-21d are installed. Further a temperature operating means 17 is mounted to perform operation on the basis of the target temperatures set by the target temperature setting means 22a-22d, and the measured temperatures measured by the temperature sensors. The system further comprises a control temperature sensor selecting means 18 for selecting the temperature sensor 21 for controlling the air conditioner 10 from the temperature sensors 21a-21d on the basis of the result of the operation by the temperature operating means 17, and a compressor/air blower control means 19 for controlling one or both of a compressor 11 and an air blower 12 to adjust the measured temperature measured by the temperature sensor selected by the control temperature sensor selecting means 18 to the target temperature set by the target temperature setting means.
