PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength of a mechanism for operating a cartridge holder. SOLUTION: This player is provided with a cartridge holder 4 positioned on a front side to hold an inserted disk cartridge, left and right rotary arms 58 and 59 set in positions corresponding to the rear side of the cartridge holder 4 so that centers thereof are rotatably supported by a spindle disposed in a mechanical chassis 1, and engaged with the cartridge holder 4 so that tips thereof approach or move apart from the cartridge holder 4, and a U-shaped rotary frame 7 constituted of connection parts 56, 57, 145 and 146 having rear ends of the left and right rotary arms 58 and 59 connected thereto and positioned on the rear side of the movement operation mechanism.
