The invention relates to a pharmaceutical formulation consisting of a calcium salt and of a plant dry extract and provided in the form of a coated tablet, whereby the formulation has a core comprised of at least one plant dry extract that is enclosed by at least one coating made of at least one calcium salt. The plant extracts used for the core can be selected among: Vitex agnus castus (chaste tree); Belamcanda chinensis (leopard flower); Cimicifaga racemosa (black cohosh); Trifolinm pretense L. (red clover); Oenothera biennis horn. (evening primrose); Glycine soja (soybean); Serenoa repens (saw palmetto); Urtica dioica (stinging nettle), particularly the roots thereof; Cucurbita pepo (pumpkin), particularly the seeds thereof; Pygeum africanum; as well as suitable mixtures thereof.
