<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anaerobic biological treatment method and apparatus by which organic waste water containing persistent components is treated highly efficiently and stably through a long period. <P>SOLUTION: In the anaerobic biological treatment method for the organic waste water which is carried out by using an upflow type anaerobic reactor 2 in which activated carbon is filled, taking out a part of treating water 9 from the top of the reactor 2 and circulating 15 to the bottom or a raw water flow-in part of the reactor, the flow rate to be circulated from the top to the bottom or the raw water flow-in part of the reactor 2 is adjusted corresponding to the treatment condition of the reactor 2 which is about the concentration of an inhibitory organic material in the treating water and/or the methane gas producing quantity to CODcr flowing in to the reactor. Seed sludge can be added into the reactor 2 at the same time as or after the filling of the activated carbon. A gas-liquid-solid separation part 3 for separating produced methane gas, the treating water and the filler is mounted in multi-stage and a means for measuring the separated methane gas produced quantity can be provided in the reactor 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
