PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain authentication using a non-contact IC without imposing labor or load on a user or the like by using a reader for the non-contact IC.

SOLUTION: In a portable telephone set 1 equipped with the reader/writer 12 for the non-contact IC, a non-contact IC information registeration part 60 receives ID number stored in the non-contact IC card 50 through the reader/writer 12, and makes a lock-related record 70 of a storage part 27 store the received ID number. When authentication for unlocking is performed, an unlocking part 62 receives the ID number stored in the non-contact IC card 50 through the reader/writer 12, and collates the received ID number with the ID number stored in the lock-related record 70 to thereby perform authentication based on the ID number of the non-contact IC.
