FIELD: environment protection, particularly to clean water surface of oil products. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves isolating oil contaminated area, defined by approached opposite harbor boom sections, with unwound web; laying the web simultaneously on two opposite harbor boom sections in broach unit. Device comprises harbor boom, broach mechanism, broach unit to approach opposite harbor boom sections and means to connect harbor boom ends. The device is also provided with oil spot isolation web, means to unwind and lay the web on harbor boom sections and clamps to secure the web to opposite harbor boom sections. ^ EFFECT: decreased air pollution with volatile oil product fractions, prevention of oil product penetration through harbor boom section tops even in the case of confused water pool. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg |
