PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door device capable of presenting appearance as a series of continuous wall surfaces without forming steps between three sliding doors in a closed state, dispensing with the grooving of high difficulty to an upper rail to reduce cost and to secure the sufficient strength of a component of the upper rail, and furthermore easily reducing the depth of the whole upper rail. SOLUTION: The upper rail 5 comprises an upper rail body 50 opened downward; linear rail covers 51A disposed in the opening of the upper rail body 50 to constitute linear rails 9, 10 by a clearance between the upper rail body 50 and the linear rail covers 51A; and curved rail covers 51B disposed in the opening of the upper rail body 50 to constitute curved rails by a cutout groove cutout in a curved shape.
