摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger for lithium ion battery which can charge it efficiently in a short time with optimum charge voltage and improves the life of a battery and facilitates wiring work by reducing the number of cables. SOLUTION: A plurality of lithium ion batteries B<SB>1</SB>, B<SB>2</SB>, and B<SB>3</SB>connected in series and as many chargers C<SB>1</SB>, C<SB>2</SB>, and C<SB>3</SB>corresponding to them are connected in parallel with a power source 1, and sensing devices S<SB>1</SB>, S<SB>2</SB>, and S<SB>3</SB>are attached here. The sensing terminals 8 and 9 on one side of the sensing devices S<SB>1</SB>and S<SB>3</SB>provided on both sides of the row of chargers connected in parallel are connected to lithium ion batteries B<SB>1</SB>and B<SB>3</SB>at the starting end and the termination. The connection 10 between the minus-side sensing terminal 9 of each sensing device S<SB>1</SB>or S<SB>2</SB>and the plus-side sensing terminal 8 of each sensing device S<SB>2</SB>or S<SB>3</SB>adjacent to it is connected between the minus side of a battery corresponding to each charger and the plus side of a battery adjacent to it.
