<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for generating a more natural image through hand-shake correction by image addition method. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes an imaging device 5 which acquires an image by photoelectrically converting a subject image from a photography optical system, a digital process portion 70 which compensates shifts in subject positions among a plurality of images successively acquired by the imaging device 5 and then puts the plurality of images together to generate a composite image, and an exposure control portion 67 which controls the time interval from the exposure end of a designated image among the plurality of images to the start of exposure of the next image. The exposure control portion 67 sets the time interval from the exposure end of the designated image to the exposure start of the next image to a sufficiently short time (e.g. ≤1/30 second). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
