<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for crushing and sterilizing beans by which beans can be crushed and sterilized at the same time without any pretreatment of the beans. <P>SOLUTION: The method for crushing and sterilizing beans comprises regulating pressure generated at the center part of a kneading screw 8 when treating the beans through rotating a screw 5 on inside raw materials within 0.2-3.5 MPa so as to control a self calorific value, and regulating the temperature of cylinder barrels 1, 2, 3 and the screw 5 while supplying a prescribed amount of the beans to a screw-type two-axle extruder from its one end part so that the crushing treatment and the sterilizing treatment are simultaneously carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
