<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna module for contactless communication which can easily perform a characteristic inspection of a signal processing circuit without using an external connection terminal of the antenna module. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna module 1 comprises a connection 11 for connecting the inspection of a signal processing circuit which is mounted on a base board 2 and electrically connected with an antenna coil 6 to an inspection device for inspecting electrical characteristics of the signal processing circuit 7, in addition to an external connection terminal (connector part) 8 for electrically connecting the signal processing circuit to the control substrate of a personal digital assistance. Consequently, operation frequency of the external connection terminal 8 can be largely reduced to retain reliability, and after manufacturing a product, a good electric connection with an external control means, such as a personal digital assistance, cab be secured.
