<p>An SNP(single nucleotide polymorphism) or microsatellite is provided to prognose occurrence possibility of disease and genetic susceptibility of schizophrenia and diagnose presence and risk of schizophrenia. An SNP for diagnosis of schizophrenia comprises a polynucleotide consisting of 8 or more consecutive nucleotides containing a 61st base of rs2071064 polynucleotide of SEQ ID NO:2 in TIP1(triose phosphate isomerase I) gene, and further comprises a polynucleotide consisting of 8 or more consecutive nucleotides containing a 301st base of rs2765042 of SEQ ID NO:3 in CKB(creatine kinase, brain-specific) gene. A microarray for diagnosis of schizophrenia contains a polynucleotide immobilized to a substrate coated by an active group selected from amino-silane, poly-L-lysine and aldehyde, a polypeptide encoded thereby or its cDNA(complementary DNA). Further, the substrate is selected from silicon wafer, glass, quartz, metal and plastic.</p> |
