摘要 <p>Provided are: an anode active material for a lithium ion secondary battery which has been newly improved so as to enhance the cycle life of a lithium ion secondary battery while maintaining the high discharge capacity of a silicon-based active material; a manufacturing method for the anode active material for a lithium ion secondary battery; a lithium ion secondary battery; and a charging method for the lithium ion secondary battery. According to an aspect of the present invention for solving the problem, provided are silicon-based active material particles and an anode active material for a lithium ion secondary battery, provided with a carbon material covering the surface of the silicon-based active material particles.</p>
